Learning and sharing
Research is a critical part of what we do – our business came about as an extension of our work on a European research project (DEHEMS). Our intention is to continue to learn and share our learnings with the research community.
We work with several of the world’s leading academic and research institutes exploring environmental and behavioural change as part of our ongoing efforts to help provide people with the information, user experience and practical motivators to reduce their domestic electricity consumption. The institutes include Oxford University's Environmental Change Institute, the Low Carbon Innovation Centre at the University of East Anglia and the Centre for New Technologies, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CENTIVE) at Cass Business School.
If you would like to talk to us about being part of a research project or, if you are an academic institution interesting in gaining access to our data, please use our contact form and get in touch.
Note: all our data is anonymised and it would be impossible to identify individual households. A full description of our position on data and security is available on our FAQ page.
